If you’re bamboozled, frustrated, and stress out about trying to get aged care services you’re not alone. In trying to get service for my parents, it proved to be a minefield of different government departments and processes, different advice from people around me and frustrations at every turn. The difference is I’ve years of experience in the aged care industry and learnt this a very common story. My mission is to make sure everybody gets the care they need stress free and when they need it.
I’ve put my knowledge and experience in aged care assessment, care management and policy work towards my project to develop a system to guide you through every step of the process, from registering onto My Aged Care, getting assessed, getting service, and adapting to change in need.
Why I started Care Managers Australia
I've seen firsthand the toll that navigating the aged care system can take on families. I've worked with countless professionals, just like you, juggling demanding careers, family responsibilities, and the overwhelming task of finding the right care for their aging parents. The stress, the confusion, the endless phone calls, the conflicting advice… it's enough to make anyone feel lost and burnt out.

I understand. In my role managing aged care services, I saw so many families arrive at my door already exhausted and overwhelmed. They'd finally made it through the system, but the journey had taken a significant toll. They'd often received mixed advice, wasted precious time, and sometimes even ended up with services that weren't the best fit for their parents' needs.
That's why I created Care Managers Australia. I knew there had to be a better way. I wanted to use my in-depth knowledge of aged care assessments, care management, and the entire system – from initial application to securing the right services – to help families before they reach that breaking point.
